Answers:
1. What reasons does President Obama have for thinking that Britain should stay in the EU?
Having the UK in the EU gives us much greater confidence in the strength of the Transatlantic union, and is part of the cornerstone of institutions built after World War 2 that has made the world safer and more prosperous, and we want to make sure that the United Kingdom continues to have that influence, because we believe that the values we share are the right ones; not just for ourselves but for Europe as a whole and the world as a whole.

From 1:28, what two unanswered questions does the reporter suppose?
i)Does he believe it will affect the special relationship, lessen Britain’s position in the world?
ii)Does he think it could destabilize Europe financially?

3. What are the reasons that the group Vote Leave think leaving the EU will be good for Britain?
If Britain chooses to leave the European Union they’ll want to work with the world’s seventh-biggest economy, the world’s fifth-biggest defense power, a crucial ally in NATO to ensure that we are all actually safer, and I think it will make no difference if Britain’s outside the European Union; American will adapt to the new reality as we will adapt to whatever new administration arrives, in Washington.
