London New Year’s Day Parade

The London New Year’s Day Parade began in 1987 and has become one of Britain’s biggest parade events. This year over 10,000 people participated in the parade and it was broadcast live in many countries. though not Japan, I think.
ロンドンのニューイヤーパレードは1987年に始まり、イギリスの大きなパレードのひとつとなっています。今年は10000人以上が参加し、多くの国で放送されました。（日本ではなかったようですが）

On January 1st, it starts from The Ritz Hotel at 12 noon when Big Ben chimes 12 times, and finishes as Parliament Square.
１月１日昼12:00、ビッグベンが12回鐘をならすときにリッツホテルからスタートし、パーラメントスクエアまでのパレードです。

Its focus is to celebrate the diversity of cultures within the British nationality, with participants wearing traditional costumes and playing music of their country of origin, along with other groups of vintage vehicles like old London buses and police cars.
イギリス国民として住む様々な国の人々の文化を祝い、それぞれの民族衣装を着たり民族楽器の演奏、ビンテージカーや古いロンドンバス、警察車などがパレードします。
