2. As Turkey has been accused by Putin of buying oil from IS, what was Turkey’s reaction to this?
3. There is also an unexpected customer of IS oil. Who is it?
Answers:
1. They call it “So-called Islamic State”, not giving it an official name status.
2. They say it isn’t true. The leader of Turkey said that he would stand down if it were proven to be true, and asked Putin if he would stand down if he couldn’t prove it.
3. Apart from Syria and Turkey, IS oil is being bought by those fighting against IS. They say they need it to keep their hospitals open.
