1) Mel Gibson: It’s too soon. He was out of here way too soon. He was very gifted, and he was a benchmark in his field, and no-one could ever kind of reach that again; no-one ever did. He had his own style, and he crossed over from his supposed sphere of expertise, which was the comedy world, but he went to every kind of place. He pulled Oscars, his acting was amazing. Not many people have done that, so his talents were immense. He’s gone too soon; he should’ve stuck around but you know, that’s the way it is. You don’t get a second shot, and god help him.
2) Phillip Noyce: One of the greatest comedians of all time. He made us laugh deep down in our hearts, in our minds, every part of our bodies. Made us laugh silly laughs, and he made us laugh very, very, very, very complex laughs because he was so intelligent.
3) Arnold Schwarzenegger: Mourning the loss of such a great man, He was also a friend and I admired him, and he’s, you know, he’s a legend. It’s unbelievable.
