His grandfather said that he had been calm, not rude, and that he hadn’t skipped class. His friend said that he had been funny, a good person, he had never fought in the streets, he had never said bad words, and that he had been just a good guy.
2) At about 2:50 the reporter said the place where the gunman had lived with his friends has become an object of curiosity. What do you think he meant by that?
People now want to examine the place to understand how the environment could have created such a situation.
3) The reporter said that there had been a mosque near his room. Did that mosque influence him?
No, because it was too moderate in its teaching and its views of the Imam for a young man who was becoming increasingly radicalized.
