Britpop: Oasis
Britpop is the genre of British pop music that appeared in the 1990s. It was more guitar-oriented, contrasting with the 1980s techno synth music. There was also a strong influence from the Beatles, especially in Oasis, sometimes called ‘The New Beatles’ by fans. Here is one of their most beautiful ballads, Stop Crying Your Heart Out:
