There were 66 people including crew. Passengers were mostly french and Egyptian; one Briton was among them.
2. How far from its destination was the plane at the time that it disappeared? What word was used to mean “disappeared” in this sentence?
It was 20 minutes from landing in Cairo. The word was “vanished”.
