A whole group of opposition candidates were blocked from registering to run. They were angry but the people who’s signed to support them were angry, too.
2. Why does one protestor think that it is a crisis?
He said that they were peaceful, without weapons and aggression but that one week before many people were beaten in the streets.
3. What has the police labeled this demonstration as, and what are the possible penalties?
They called it a riot, and some arrested protestors are facing up to eight years in jail.
