Rochester

Rochester is in Kent, south-east of London, and is a historical city, famous as the birthplace of Charles Dickens – perhaps Britain’s second-most-famous writer. Landmarks include Rochester Castle and Rochester Cathedral, but you can enjoy Rochester by simply walking through the old streets. There are also many hotels and pubs.

ローチェスターはロンドン南東部にある歴史的な町で、イギリス人作家として2番目（1番はシェイクスピアでしょう）に有名な、デイキンスの生誕地として有名です。お城、大聖堂の観光も素敵ですが、ただ古い町並みを歩くだけでも楽しめる町です。ロンドンから電車で40-50分、ホテルやパブも多く、ロンドンからの小旅行に最適な観光地です。
