Rolling Stones
Of all the world-famous bands and artists from Britain, the Rolling Stones are my favourite – they lead the blues-based music which helped to create the rock and metal genres of the 1970s and 80s. This years is their 51st, and they still have three of their five original members.
They have gone through various genres through the years but have always kept that blues-rock sound as their base. Here is one of their classic blues-rock n roll songs “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”. Originally written in 1968, it is a precursor to the hard rock movement of the 1970s.
