The Green Man pub
I once went into The Green Man pub for a lunch, and though it was very simple (big British sausages [very different to sausages found in Japan], baked beans and chips) it was home-cooked and very filling. It cost 5 pounds, I think. Of course, the pub sells many great British ales and bitters (kinds of beer). For a summer weekday lunchtime, it was surprisingly quiet inside, and just off Oxford Street, right in the centre of London’s famous West End.
