Eastbourne

Eastbourne, East Sussex.
I’m sure anyone looking for a typical English seaside resort would like to consider Eastbourne  A perfect day-trip to see a  “genteel” English seafront! The beautiful carpet gardens on the promenade are famous and the pier is a good example of old time English family holiday “fun”  with a walk out to sea and amusements along the way. Take an open top bus ride to the white cliffs of Beachy Head for marvellous views and the lighthouse ( which had to be moved as the cliffs were crumbling) To finish –how about Afternoon tea at the Grand Hotel  in the beautiful chandeliered hall with such friendly staff.

イギリスらしいシーサイドリゾート、Eastbourne は、エレガントなイギリスの海岸通りです。カーペットのように花々でいっぱいのガーデン、桟橋では、昔ながらのメリーゴーランド等の乗り物やスロットマシーンなどが楽しめます。素晴らしい景色を望める海岸沿いの石灰岩の絶壁には、オープントップバスで行けます。グランドホテルでのアフタヌーンティーも素敵ですよ。
