Incorrect native English in songs
Here’s my first example of why pop and rock isn’t always a good way to study English…
Do you know why this song title is in error?
“If She Would Have Been Faithful” by Chicago
It’s very disappointing to hear such an error from a group that I really like and respect.
“If She Would Have Been Faithful”should be ‘If she had been faithful.” Unfortunately, this is a common error with people who don’t read very much!
