Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square, at Charing Cross station is centred around the statue of Nelson. On the day I visited Trafalgar Square there were thousands of Scottish football supporters who had come to see the match against England (which England won) played at Wembley Stadium. チャーリングクロスには、ナポレオンを倒した英雄、ネルソンの像が建つ、有名なトラファルガースクエアがあります。私が訪れた日は、Wembley（オリンピックでは、日本女子チーム、なでしこもプレーしました） でのスコットランド対イングランドの試合を見るためロンドンに来た、キルト（kilt)スカート姿のスコットランド人サポーターが大勢いました。

ナショナルギャラリー前にはストリートパフォーマーが大勢いて、人々を楽しませます。’透明椅子’に座っている人がいました。
